Thank you for taking the time to find out more about the possible future direction of our Trust.
A great deal has been achieved since our family of schools started working together, and we should be proud of the progress that has been made.
However, the world of education is constantly evolving – and we recognise how important it is to always consider how best we can support our schools to thrive. Having the capacity and resources to continue to drive our success is essential, and this is something that is challenging in a Trust of just three schools.
That is why we have been taking a great deal of time and effort to restart the conversation about what a merger may look like with another local Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).
We appreciate that this is a road that has been explored before, and we have used these experiences to shape how we have considered the options that are available to us. No stone has been left unturned.
Central to our thinking has been the need to find a Trust that would respect and champion the ethos and identity of each of our schools, but also has the capacity and capability to enable us to continue on the trajectory that we are on.
As part of this consideration, Trustees and headteachers have been looking at the strengths of every MAT in the region - and one is standing out. This MAT is Aletheia Academies Trust.
As we embark on what is known as the due diligence process, we want to ensure that every member of our immediate and wider community has the opportunity to ask questions and share your views about what this merger may mean.
That is why we have created this special microsite to enable everyone from staff, parents, grandparents, neighbours, local educationalists – in fact, anyone with an interest in our schools - to find out more and formally submit questions and viewpoints.
The listening period runs for four weeks from Monday 18th May, concluding at 17:00 on Friday 19 June 2026.
We would encourage you all to use the online feedback form to share your thoughts, views and questions.
Please be assured that every response received will be read, digested and considered – and a report shared with our Board of Trustees and the Department for Education at the conclusion of the listening period.
We look forward to hearing from you.

We are a family of three Academies in Medway. We are deeply committed to meaningful inclusivity and innovative education for the 21st century, which can only be realised through the enablement of autonomy amongst our leaders.
